A new Chinese Trail Garden
Acton arboretum is a hidden treasure in Acton. Since 2016, a new Chinese trail garden broke ground, designed by an award winning landscape designer and supported by Town of Acton and many volunteering groups. Most plantings were in this Spring even in the time of Pandemic. The center piece is a red foot bridge. Along the broad walk, there are many oriental species of trees and bushes. My favorites are Japanese maples, weeping cherry, and willow as well as tree peony. The garden is a true beauty for all seasons.

Walk in beauty
Nice walk, beautifully landscaped. Easy terrain. Little bit of Paradise in Acton , MA. Whoever chose the placement of plants and trees, the whole layout and timing of when things bloom was well thought out. Lovely

A Lovely Oasis in Acton
This place has everything: beautiful gardens, lovingly maintained and wooded trails that are well marked. Just off of Route 27 in Acton this place is a lovely oasis! When I visited there were lots of other visitors, but the place did not seem crowded at all. The flowers were blooming in the Botanical garden and the wooded trails were a lush green. A nice getaway!
