Awesome activity center & amazing restaurant

I had such an awesome adventure at Bar Lido La Gravara! I would go back and visit again in a heartbeat. Lago di Barrea looks to be right out of a postcard. Emerald green water, views of the mountains and of the town of Barrea, it really is a picture perfect spot to enjoy hours of beach time. The staff offers many activities to their guests from paddle boats, swimming, boating, sunbathing. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy every moment of your visit on this beautiful beach. Once you've had your fill of water activities, ask about their horseback riding adventures! When you are good and tuckered out, sit down at the restaurant for one of the most authentic, mouth-watering, "I don't want to share" meals you will have in Italy. The truffle & mushroom pasta was to die for. Do not miss out on a wonderful adventure at Lago di Barrea.

    Lago Di Barrea camping
    Camping right on the lake was wonderful, peaceful and refreshing...a great way to relax and regroup. Fire pits, toilets and showers....wish it had a mini mart, but town is close....just keep driving down the bumpy, dirt road nd you'll be in heaven!! Owner does not speak English...

    Worth your visit
    Not only the lake but certainly also Barrea itself is well worth your visit. Be amazed about the beauty of the village, and don't forget to visit the borgo. It'll only cost you 1 Euro.
