- 5.0 Kandavas kartodroms (2 reviews)
-A chance to experience a track made for competitions
Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
We called up and booked a go-karting session for four people, the guy who did the introduction spoke great English, was very friendly and had great humor! The best part about the session was the track! Best track we have been on! We were told that they actually hold competitions on the tracks so we had a chance to experience the real deal :) definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Latvia! See more..
- 5.0 The Oak Bench (1 review)
-Best at sunrise!
Points of Interest & Landmarks
An oak bench made by the county businessman Jurģis Ābele is located on the school hill. The back of the bench is shaped like the contour of Latvia. See more..
- 4.5 Abavas Rumba (8 reviews)
-Waterfall
Waterfalls
By comparing to others waterfalls I think it could be one of the best in Latvia. Of course, it is small (1-2m high) but quite nice. You can make a small picnic or stay with tents near and prices are low. Entrance fee is 1 eur per person and you can go by car and park very close to the river. See more..
- 2.5 Castle Mound of the Knights (3 reviews)
-historical, but nothing special
Spent < 1 hour Architectural Buildings • Castles
If you're passing by the Kandava (which is an interesting place on its own), you may spend 5 minutes to see the castle hill, which was once a powerful fortress. Little remains today, save for castle model at the hill. Not worth a trip. Better visit Rumene Manor nearby :) See more..
