Very attractive park with many activities

We have passed this park many, many times when we were in Worcester, but this was the first time that we drove in. Being from the desert, we were completely overcome by all the bright green shrubbery, and the huge trees. How lovely! Maybe on the weekend, it is crowded, but today (Thursday 6/25), there were not that many people, so we could drive slowly, and absorb it all. We saw many nicely placed picnic tables, we saw ponds, we visited the beautiful golf course, we saw walking paths, and biking trails. The very peaceful Vietnam Veterans Memorial is there. A small farm is on the grounds, as well as a children's playground, play fields, and a skateboarding area. Everything looked well maintained and cared for. So lucky for a City to have such a lovely park.

    Verdant gem
    We met friends from out of town here, as it was the halfway point between us, and we were all very impressed with the park. There's a well-maintained playground for kids, a free animal farm with alpacas, sheep, and various birds, and plenty of walking space if you just want to go for a stroll. There are also tables for picnicking. We were here in winter, but I imagine this park is even more beautiful in warm weather when everything's green. There's also a golf course in the park; we didn't go golfing, but it looked beautiful.

    An Excellent Community Resource
    Green Hill Park is a gem. Parkland, athletic fields, a pond for canoeing or rowing and an excellent, well maintained golf course. The Golf Clubhouse has a very nice restaurant/bar with a deck with views of the Course and pond. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The City can be proud of this Park
